Kat Purvis – Founder of Living Flow

The Journey Back to Wholeness

Hi, I’m Kat - a yoga teacher, craniosacral therapist-in-training, and certified health coach. But before all of this, I was a high-performing creative producer running on fumes. Years of burnout, anxiety, and eventually a traumatic brain injury led me into a health crisis I couldn’t ignore.

After suffering from prolonged post-concussion syndrome (PPCS) for over three years, I reached a point where conventional medicine didn’t have the answers. That’s when I began exploring other pathways- ones that helped me understand myself as a whole, complex being. Not just a brain. Not just a body.

A Return to Embodiment

My healing wasn’t quick or linear. It involved retraining my nervous system, prioritising rest, learning how to listen to my body, shifting how I ate and moved, and deeply exploring mind-body practices like somatic movement, breathwork, and Yoga Nidra.

The process changed how I live - and who I am.

Now, through Living Flow, I help others reconnect to their own bodies, nervous systems, and natural rhythms. I believe that healing is not about fixing; it’s about returning - to presence, to safety, to your breath, to your body.

My Approach

My work draws from a holistic, trauma-aware lens - combining the science of nervous system regulation with deeply intuitive practices. I don’t believe in quick fixes. I believe in empowering people to make sustainable changes that create real transformation over time.

My offerings include:

  • Health Coaching grounded in behavioural change, circadian rhythm education, HRV awareness, and gut health

  • Yoga for both activation and rest (Hatha Flow, Yoga Nidra, Restorative)

  • Craniosacral Therapy & Myofascial Release, to support the nervous system and unwind deep layers of holding

Why “Living Flow”?

Because healing isn’t a straight line. It’s a rhythm - a conversation between movement and stillness. Flow is not about constant productivity. It’s about embodied living — where you feel grounded, present, and fully you.

I’m here to hold space for that return.
